TFT IPS- High-quality liquid crystal matrix. It has wide viewing angles, one of the best indicators of color reproduction quality and contrast among all those used in the production of displays for portable equipment.
Super AMOLED- if a conventional AMOLED screen uses several layers, between which there is an air gap, then in Super AMOLED there is only one such touch layer without air gaps. This allows you to achieve greater screen brightness with the same power consumption.
Super AMOLED HD- differs from Super AMOLED in a higher resolution, thanks to which it is possible to achieve 1280x720 pixels on a mobile phone screen.
Super AMOLED plus- this is a new generation of Super AMOLED displays, differs from the previous one by using more sub-pixels in a conventional RGB matrix. The new displays are 18% thinner and 18% brighter than the older PenTile displays.
AMOLED- an improved version of OLED technology. The main advantages of the technology are significantly reduced power consumption, the ability to display a large color gamut, a smaller thickness and the ability of the display to bend a little without the risk of breaking.
retina- display with a high pixel density, designed specifically for Apple technology. The pixel density on Retina displays is such that individual pixels are indistinguishable to the eye at a normal distance from the screen. This provides the highest image detail and greatly improves the overall viewing experience.
Super Retina HD- The display is made using OLED technology. The pixel density is 458 PPI, the contrast ratio reaches 1,000,000:1. The display has an extended color gamut and unrivaled color accuracy. Pixels in the corners of the display are anti-aliased at the sub-pixel level, so borders don't distort and look smooth. Super Retina HD reinforcement layer is 50% thicker. Breaking the screen will be harder.
Super LCD is the next generation of LCD technology and features improved features compared to earlier LCD displays. Screens have not only wide viewing angles and better color reproduction, but also reduced power consumption.
TFT- A common type of liquid crystal displays. With the help of an active matrix, controlled by thin-film transistors, it is possible to significantly increase the speed of the display, as well as the contrast and clarity of the image.
OLED- organic electroluminescent display. Consists of a special thin-film polymer that emits light under the influence of an electric field. This type of display has a large margin of brightness and consumes very little power.

When we decided to take the Samsung Galaxy Star Plus gt-s7262 for a test, we expected to see an outdated monster that could not be “trained”, in fact, the phone turned out to be pleasant with its pluses, but also, of course, minuses. I was pleased with the presence of two SIM cards, the presence of GPS, sane software and of course a wide screen, although not of the best quality, but still with good color reproduction, the eyes did not get tired of the screen. In general, the phone does not fly, this is prevented by a weak processor and RAM, if you are going to play modern toys, buy yourself another smartphone, the sound in the headphones is not the best, but not the worst, for the price that the device costs, let’s even say good. The battery is weak, although the consumption of the Samsung Galaxy Star Plus gt-s7262 is small, but still the capacity is 1500 units, this is not enough, although a full day goes without charging even using the device to its fullest. And, most importantly, there is no 3G support, think about it, but there is Wi-Fi.

A phone is tritely needed in order to make calls and surf the Internet via Wi-Fi, if you need a workhorse that you don’t feel sorry for at all, then the phone will do just fine. The e option is not if you are going to take it as an additional one, too, and if you feel sorry for the money for the device, the worst. In general, good value for money.

Conclusion

Samsung Galaxy Star Plus gt-s7262 is the best choice for a spare/work/baby phone. The smartphone has most of the qualities that are declared on more expensive models, while it is inexpensive. You can even say with confidence that its price, therefore, the demand for the model is exactly what it is. As for the cons, a $90 phone can't be without them, it would probably be wrong that the cheapest device on the market (one of the most) is equipped with the characteristics of the brand's flagship. We add that the smartphone has a good design and we present a prize for the most reasonable purchase of the year. For its purposes, the phone is suitable and no matter what they say.

Mega-durable case, not a scratch on the display for a year and a half, - a sealed back cover, so it is not afraid of water if you quickly remove it,

    1. Fine adjustment of screen brightness. 2. The alarm clock rings for a long time after pressing "take another nap". 3. Tolerably pulls Viber, Telegram, Chrome at the same time (in the comments above they wrote the viber does not work - nonsense) Sometimes it slows down due to weak characteristics. 4. There is a RAM cleaning function. 5. The battery is very good, after a few years it holds a charge well

Beautiful appearance, as the dialer works great, catches Wi-Fi well.

Performance, build quality is terribly backlash and creaks, autonomy, equipment, a terrible screen and its sensor!

The camera is terrible, there is no front camera, although this is not very scary, the amount of GB of memory is terrifying, the charge lasts for 1-2 days with frequent use, the sound is of medium filthiness, I immediately say it does not pull the game

The first 4 years of use, the screen behaved like titanium, but suddenly it began to scratch

A very weak battery, with intensive conversations there is not enough charge until the end of the working day, and when using the Internet, the battery will sit down immediately after lunch. - the Internet is slow, it is only enough for reading articles and e-books, video and music are not available online at all, e-mail is loaded with difficulty. - constantly pumps unnecessary nonsense, therefore it is very stupid, braked, slow, you can't "quickly call" it. - poor touchscreen, no clarity, does not respond properly in cold weather. - sometimes applications crash.

The camera is weak. It takes a long time to load, but then it works tolerably. (disabling unnecessary applications) Like many Samsungs, you need a PC driver to access the internal memory. On the original firmware there is a glitch with the inability to turn off the alarm (only reboot). The SIM card is located under the battery.

Hangs up constantly. As soon as they bought it (I didn’t buy it), it began to hang. Apparently it's a matter of RAM, tk. you have to go into the settings, and set that no more than 4 processes would work, then it starts to work more or less. But still, over time, the processes are loaded, and it starts to fail unbearably. Everything freezes, the screen, the letters cannot be printed, because it just simply hangs tightly until after 4 minutes it stops glitching. Disgusting phone

Star Plus, reviewed in this article, has become one of the most successful budget models from this South Korean manufacturer. The device is a prime example of the case when quality does not suffer from a relatively low cost. The phone is deprived of such characteristics, familiar to modern consumers as the presence of GPS and 3G, however, one should not rush to consider such a fee as too high.

Appearance

The model is a candybar with a securely assembled case, where there is no play in the back cover, and the keys move quite quietly. The choice of the buyer is offered a white and black version of the phone. The weight of the device is 121 grams. On the left side, the usual one is installed, while on the opposite edge there is a button for turning on, locking and unlocking, as well as a recess, with which it is much easier to remove the cover. At the top is a headphone jack, and at the bottom is a tiny microphone hole and a USB port. As for the rear panel, you can see the camera lens on it. There are also slots for the main speaker. Under the battery, manufacturers have placed two slots for installing SIM cards.

Screen

Overall, the four-inch display is considered one of the most significant advantages of the Samsung Galaxy Star Plus smartphone. The reviews of its owners indicate that watching videos and photos, visiting various Internet resources and just chatting with it on social networks is quite pleasant. The screen has a resolution of 800x480 pixels. The manufacturing company has remained true to its traditions, therefore it has equipped the device with a TFT display, which is distinguished by amazing clarity and saturation. Due to it, about 16 million colors are displayed quite realistically.

Main characteristics

Star Plus runs on Android 4.1 operating system. Thanks to the easy and thoughtful interface control, even those users who have never dealt with smartphones before can master it. The phone has a single-chip Spreadtrum system with a processor core operating at a frequency of 1 GHz. Thanks to the use of a video accelerator, even 3D games start and run without any difficulties. The device has 4 GB of built-in and 512 MB of RAM. If necessary (and it will definitely arise), the user can install an additional memory card (maximum 32 GB).

Two SIM cards

The model has become an almost ideal solution for people who prefer to separate phone calls for personal and work matters, as well as for those who want to use the services of several mobile operators in order to save money. Among the many advantages of the Samsung Galaxy Star Plus model, the “Dual Sim Always On” function should be highlighted. Its essence lies in the fact that during a telephone conversation on one of the SIM cards, the second remains active. Moreover, the device user has the ability to switch between his interlocutors during a conversation.

Photo and video

The gadget has only one camera. By modern standards, its performance is considered more than just modest - it has a resolution of two megapixels and is not equipped with a flash. In addition, the smartphone cannot be used for shooting at night. Video recording in the device is carried out at a frequency of fifteen frames per second, and the resolution of the videos is 720x480 pixels. In general, the Samsung Galaxy Star Plus phone is only suitable for amateur footage that is quite suitable for posting on social networks.

Battery

The device uses a replaceable lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 150 mAh. Under the condition of active use of the smartphone (a lot of conversations, games and the Internet), you will have to charge it every day. It takes about three hours to fully charge it. According to representatives of the manufacturing company, in standby mode, the Samsung Galaxy Star Plus model is able to function for about 370 hours. In the case of a continuous conversation, the phone will be completely discharged after 15 hours, and if you only listen to music, the charge will last somewhere for one day.

conclusions

Summing up, it should be noted that in general, the device can be safely called a budget and stylish smartphone, which is great for both entertainment and work. Due to the relatively small dimensions, the model lies perfectly in the hand. Even inexperienced users can easily figure out how to manage the Samsung Galaxy Star Plus phone. Two slots for installing SIM cards allow each owner of the model to independently select the best tariffs and mobile operators. The only thing that is far from being at the highest level here is the camera, so for those who like to take pictures, purchasing a model will not be a very successful undertaking. Be that as it may, for those who are looking for an inexpensive device with optimal performance, experts recommend taking a closer look at this particular smartphone.
